Responding to climate change, national adaptation plans (NAPs) have been made as a priority by countries to strengthen resilience to the impacts of climate change. However, there are critical challenges for countries in identifying indicators to understand progress and measuring progress in implementing of NAPs and broader climate resilience goals. This is because measuring and evaluation are conceptual and methodological challenges for which there is still no clear answer. This event will discuss technical insight toward adaptation measurement framework and share insights on the experiences of monitoring and evaluation of climate change adaptation in different countries.
