(Application to Participate in the Asia-Pacific UNFCCC CASTT Adaptation Academy)

 아·태평양 지역 UNFCCC CASTT 적응아카데미 교육 참가자를 모집합니다. 아·태평양 지역 UNFCCC-CASTT 적응아카데미 교육은 한국환경연구원 국가기후변화적응센터(KEI KACCC), UNFCCC 사무국, 태국 아시아공과대학 수공학 및 수자원 관리 프로그램(AIT WEM)의 3개 기관이 공동으로 개최하는 개도국 기후변화 적응 역량강화 교육 프로그램으로, 오는 2021년 10월 11일(월)부터 15일(금)까지 5일간(매일 3시간씩, 총 15시간) 온라인 교육으로 진행됩니다. 아·태평양 지역 개도국 적응 전문가(초~중급자)를 대상으로, 파리협정(Paris Agreement)에 따라 강화된 투명성 체계(ETF) 내 기후 취약성 및 적응 평가 준비에 관한 교육 예정입니다. 이달 말, 2021년 8월 30일(월)까지 교육 참가자를 모집하오니 관심 있는 분들은 아래 링크를 통해 신청하시기 바랍니다.

 

  Applications to participate in the Asia-Pacific UNFCCC CASTT (Climate Action and Support Transparency Training) Adaptation Academy are now being accpted. The deadline is 30 August, and the online training will be held live from 11~15 October for 3-hours each day (total of 15 hours in the programme). Please apply here. Organized in partnership between the Korea Adaptation Center for Climate Change  of the Korea Environment Institute (KEI KACCC), the UN climate change secretariat (UNFCCC secretariat), and the Water Engineering and Management Programme of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT WEM) this one-week online course provides an opportunity for early- and mid-career adaptation professionals from the Asia-Pacific region to participate in a training programme to prepare their climate vulnerability and adaptation assessments within the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) under the Paris Agreement.
